दिनांक 16 अगस्त 2022 को राजकीय महाविद्यालय नैनबाग टिहरी गढ़वाल में नवीन प्राचार्या डॉ सुमिता श्रीवास्तव का प्राध्यापक व कर्मचारियों द्वारा स्वागत ।

दिनांक 09 सितंबर 2022 को हिमालय दिवस के अवसर पर हिमालय बचाओ अभियान कार्यक्रम के तहत शपथ लेते हुए ।

W elcome you all at the platform of Government Degree College Nainbagh (Tehri Garhwal),Uttarakhand. The college was started in 2001 vide Government Order No 2771/ek0l0fo0/2001 Dated 10 August 2001 and was affiliated with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Srinagar Garhwal. Presently this college is affiliated to Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Badshahithaul, Tehri Garhwal. It caters the population of 40 km surroundings for the need of higher education demand.

Located in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand, Nainbagh is a scenic hilly town which marks the confluence of three districts of Tehri, Uttarkashi, and Dehradun. It has enriched mixed culture of Jaunpur, Jaunsar and Rawai regions. College is situated at Tehsil headquarter of Nainbagh on national highway 507. Located at the altitude of 650 m, Nainbagh is witness of confluence of River Yamuna and River Bhadri. It is surrounded by many famous tourist places like Mussoorie, Campty Fall, NagTibba, Lakhamandal etc.

College has Arts Faculty with three year Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Program in seven subjects. 120-120 seats are available in Hindi, Political Science, Sociology and History each; while 60-60 seats are available in Geography, Economics and English each. National Education Policy 2020 has been implemented in the college from the current session of 2022-2023.

The vision, mission and core values of the college are in tune with National Education Policy 2020. We are determined to serve the society with inclusiveness, adopting modern ICT tools of teaching and learning with smart classrooms, inculcating the cultural heritage in our students to produce confidant and skilled graduates. Along with fundamental learning of subjects, multidisciplinary learning with vocational courses and value added co-curricular courses have been introduced for holistic development of students. The engagement of students with community is strongly encouraged by several outreach programs. Definitely, together we will be able to train our students as responsible citizens with moral values to fulfil the goal of pleasant society.
